More than 50 years ago I used a fountain pen and most of a bottle of ink to write my Phd thesis. I haven’t used a fountain pen much since then but it brings back fond memories. I bought a wood fountain pen from you at the art fair last month and I don’t think I’ve used anything else to write with since. Fountain pen technology has come a long way since I wrote my thesis, most notably it does not leak and it seems to write forever on one filling of ink. Gerry, As a long time fountain pen collector I was impressed with the quality of your pens when I first saw them. Most of the pens I collect are vintage along a few top of the line new pens. I haven’t owned any of the pens that are individually hand made by pen makers. I always thought of them as inferior to the pens from the big name makers. Your pens, and especially the Irish Bog Oak pen I bought, measure up to some of the best in my collection. They are definitely the most unique. You have turned me on to hand-made pens and I plan to acquire a few more of your pens. Don M
